weekly photo challenge: room

.

LET’S START WITH

a room with a gloom, al fresco style—

baaa

—and like I told her at the time, she’ll need better bait than that if she wants their attention.

SO IF THIS BE THE SEASON

for jolly trips to the jolly beach … beware the wise old (if somewhat scruffy) company you may find there—

beachy

—whose sole advice is to never listen to unsought advice. I’d advise you to take it … there’s room for more, and plenty more where that came from. ‘Nuff said …

BUT THERE’S

not much room for this wee fellow—

—and the yellow thing is actually one of those long dangly bits that you often find inside flowers (I thought at first it was a wee pollen basket on the bee).

OH~! THAT SORT OF ROOM …

Well then: I just found out only this morning, that Peg’s cottage—

P's C

—which we always thought was named for a damsel (damsel? Battlemaiden if she’s from down here) (brrrr) named Peg is actually named for one Bert Pegg, who died in 1928. My unconfirmed understanding is that ol’ Bert actually lived there—not much room, even for those days …

ROOM NOW FOR A SQUAWK

Go get'em, Tiger~!
Go get’em, Tiger~!

of apology. This is a new theme for me and I’m still fine-tuning the mix. And I’m almost ready to start fiddling with the lovely Elements The Spouse bought me, so expect some unusual shots in the weeks to come.

Perhaps I’ll soon be able to rise to the bait and meet the Weekly Photo Challenge head-on. In the meantime I’m still ensconced with books, you-tubes, the web and gods alone know what else … old dog, new tricks, so don’t wait up.
